B 6 - Bamboo Coral Bracelet

Very little is known about Bamboo Coral. The skeletons of bamboo coral are made up of  calcium carbonate in the form of tree-like branches  alternating with joint-like nodes composed of proteins. This gives the bamboo coral the look of fingers like the bamboo that grows on trees. The International Commission of  Colored Gemstones lists Bamboo Coral as one of the five organic gemstones along with Amber, Jet, and Pearl.
